The Short ASYMMETRIC Girth with Detachable Cover is designed with an anatomically correct shape that is contoured extra deep at the elbows with a wide centerpiece to provide extra comfort for the horse.

Designed for horses who’s shoulder, elbow, and girth position line up, causing no room for the girth which frequently causes rubs and galling with a normal shaped girth. Anatomically shaped extra deep at the elbow for relief from any pressure. E.A. Mattes Sheepskin Girths provide superior protection against rubbing, galling, and overall discomfort.

The natural properties of sheepskin, including heat dissemination, breathability and the ability to reduce friction, make sheepskin the ideal girth material.

We highly recommend Mattes MELP to clean all of your sheepskin, washable leather & wool products. It is specially formulated with re-greasing agents that won’t harden leather.

Option to purchase base girths and sheepskin covers separately allow even greater flexibility for using one girth on multiple horses.

If this product is out of stock it can be ordered in (or if you want a different colour!). We order from Mattes every 3 - 4 weeks and there is usually a 5 - 6 week wait time for custom products (less for their in stock items) depending on when in the order cycle you order.We send an invoice for a 50% deposit before ordering and the balance is due when the product is on its way so we can quickly post it out to you as soon as it arrives. 

All you need to let us know via email is exactly what you want and your name, email, postal address and phone number for the invoice.

Note:
There is a possibility of dye bleeding into the horses hair or other materials from dark or bright colored skin, because of the horses-sweat or use of unsuitable washing detergent.

Returns are accepted within 21 days of the date of receiving the item. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with tags still attached. You can return it for an exchange or refund - shipping costs are not refundable.

Special offers/clearance bin items/2nd hand items & custom orders are exempt from this policy but talk to us for other options that may be available.
